Getting Bigger!

This pregnancy thing is crazy! I can't believe the way that my stomach is growing!! This first picture was when I was 13 weeks. Just imagine what it is like now at 20 weeks! I looks to me like Danny is a little jealous! He sure tries, but his tummy just doesn't compare! The second picture was taken this past Sunday at the bench that honors my dear cousin Evan who passed away last May.The picture doesn't do my stomach justice, but trust me, it's there and it's BIG! I am beginning to feel every other part of me getting bigger (especially my face and my behind!). I can't can't even fathom what it's going to be like by the end of term! )The third picture is a picture of my darling nephews, niece, and sister. If my little girl is half as cute as little Flora (inside and out) then I will be thrilled!

It's A Girl!!

Danny and I had our ultrasound on Tuesday! I was nearly hyperventalating because I was so excited. For the past four months I have been dreaming of a mystery baby not knowing whether it was a girl or a boy. I found that it was very difficult to make it "real" without knowing. Danny and I both agreed that it didn't matter to us whether we had a girl or a boy. However, I knew that Danny would just love to have a little princess (not really typical huh?) and always referred to my stomach as "she," "Jane," or "Abby." Laying on the bed for the ultrasound was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had! I just kept thinking, "I can't believe that is in my stomach!! What a miracle!" When the doctor told us that we were having a baby girl, I started to cry and looked over at Danny. He was all teared up! It was an awesome moment! It was interesting to see that so much of my nervousness about having a baby just disappeared. I felt so peaceful and excited! I can't wait for my baby girl to arrive!

I'm In!

I never thought that I was technical enough to create and update a blog, but I have enjoyed seeing other people's blogs so much and their beautiful babies that I thought that I would join the "club." I am expecting my first baby in September and I thought a blog would help me to keep in contact and share pictures with people who I care about but don't get to see too often. Since I am not too keen on posting pictures of myself (however I have a really attractive husband :)) I doubt that I will add much to my blog until sometime in SEPTEMBER. By then I will have a lot of pictures to post of my little one. See you then!
