Daddy Daughter Time!

The definition of a good dad...

(Jane is doing the "lizard" in this picture!)

A Little R and R!

This past weekend, Danny and I decided that we wanted to take one last trip to my families ranch in Idaho before it got too cold. We invited the Becks, packed our bags and coolers, and were all set to go. Well, two hours before leaving my dad called and said that the ranch was 15 degrees! WHOA! Change of plans...we re-packed our bags and headed south to St. George instead. I would choose 70 degree weather over 15 degrees ANY DAY!

We always stop at this Chevron on our way to St. George for treats and a potty break. I couldn't resist having a "tourist" moment and taking a picture with this huge chair. Jane REALLY looks small compared to it!

Once in St. George, we went and played in the red rocks.

My husband, the monkey!

Jackson, Kenadee, and Taylor!

While we were there the wind started blowing like crazy. I can tell you one thing...dirt and wind do not go well together! Baby Jane and Fisher were troopers. They did much better than their mothers! I ran to the car as fast as I could!

Later we went swimming at the condo. I have never been a fan of swimming, but somehow with your own baby it is so much fun!
Jane was so excited to have her buddies with her for a few days. She was a perfect angel the entire trip. Kenadee, Jackson, and Fisher kept her very entertained. As soon as we got home, the whining began. I think she misses her friends!
The trip ended up being exactly what I needed! A little shopping, swimming, playing, relazing, and spending time with my hubby, baby, and best friends does wonders! Why do vacations have to end??
